More Fires For Walmart

This is starting to look like a pattern.

MiddleTown Ohio:

According to the Middletown Division of Police, the teen walked into the electronics department at the Towne Boulevard WalMart just before 9:15 a.m. Friday and lit his jacket on fire.

Reports said the man, from the 2000 block of Arlington Avenue, used a lighter and tissues stuffed in his pocket to ignite his jacket, which became "severely burnt."

The WalMart store manager told police he used a nearby fire extinguisher to put out the flames before the 17-year-old sustained any injuries.

Naples Florida:

Then, around 8 p.m., East Naples firefighters responded to another fire down the road at Beall’s Department Store, 3701 U.S. 41 East, Speers said. Employees reported that someone set a shirt on fire while it still on the rack, Speers said.

"Customers used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire," Speers said. "This one did not set off the sprinklers."

The Beall’s store also had to close for the evening, Speers said. No one was injured in any of the fires, Speers said.
